Reflexology for fertility

Reflexology offers a holistic and non-invasive treatment for both men and women who are trying to conceive. It can help enhance chances of conceiving naturally, or to support assisted fertility treatments and mitigate any side-effects.

Much of the success around fertility reflexology is anecdotal, but there are studies out there which support its efficacy. A study using 180 cases of couples struggling to conceive (either naturally or via IVF) found a 68% success rate when undertaking reflexology.

I have studied at the Seren School of Reproductive Reflexology with Barbara Scott and I am a member of the Association of Reproductive Refelxologists. You can find me along with other members who practice near you on the listings page.

How does it help?

Reproductive reflexology is a holistic approach to aiding fertility, with pressure point massage being applied to the feet.

It aims to stimulate and balance the entire body, promoting overall well-being and enhancing the reproductive system's function. Many treatment plans may begin by trying to correct cycle abnormalities, balancing hormones and managing stress levels - creating optimal conditions in the body for conception to occur.

Working in this way can also be very effective for managing women's health issues, such as endometriosis, PCOS and PMS.

Booking a Reproductive Reflexology treatment

If you book in for a Reproductive Reflexology treatment with me, I'll begin by building up a thorough picture of your current situation. Prior to your session, I will send you a form to complete and may request any medical results for you and your partner, if applicable.

During your first session we'll chat through your form and go into more detail (don't worry, it will be very laid back and relaxed!) before commencing treatment.

Having someone to chat to about the situation aside from your family or medical professionals can be really liberating. It's a chance for you to be listened to without judgement and held in a safe environment.

Reproductive Reflexologists can offer support and a listening ear during an overwhelming and stressful time, and help you to understand what may be going on inside your body.
